We had many influences, mainly from Netflix, that helped us to decide on the genre of crime/thriller. For
example we had both watched a range of TV series that were the genre of thriller, these shows include Pretty
Little liars, Dexter and Stranger Things. Since we both enjoyed these types of shows and they are not too
complex to film, we decided that this would be an ideal genre to use. Especially as we're the age of the
audience we're targeting therefore if these are something of our interest then others our age should be similar to
us therefore enjoying what we've enjoyed.
We got influenced on the setting of where to film it from a TV drama/series that is on TV and is a crime. It
called Vera, where its set in the countryside with miles and miles of land and fields. We based ours in fields and
a stables, where as Vera is based in the countryside however it is a similar setting and environment.
These are our comparison, both set in grass land areas. This is what we got influenced by for the background and location.
