The film opening is shot at a local stable and fields in Hockley, Essex. 46 High Road; SS5 4 Hockley. We have
filmed the majority of it with miles and miles of fields and farm land that surround the location. We have
included plenty of land and fields in the shots to show the sort of environment it is set in and to allow the
audience to be able to see show small and vulnerable the girl is in so much space.
The pathway/hill that Olivia is walking down is a very significant piece of scenery as this is where the crime
occurs. It allows the scene to be scene when she is positioned running away.
This hay stack is seen when filming the set up of a day to day lifestyle for a horse rider and really helps to set
the scene of what she does daily.
This is another significant piece of scenery as it shows us the horses and open countryside and the fields in
which surrounds the horses. Showing that its an open area.
This is a stable door to show that the film opening is set is at a stable and the kind of surroundings you may
see in this sort of setting.
The train within this picture is sets the scene and shows that the film location is set near by a train station.
Giving a sense of danger, almost like a silent killer.
Our opening sequences does not contain many props as it is mainly about the setting. however throughout the
sequence a few props are featured, such as hay, an electric fence, a horse, and flying birds are featured.
A train station...a silent killer???
